Blog

One of the windows in Ypsilanti that I painted while living there a few years ago. I wanted people to get as much pleasure from it as they would doing things they enjoy, perhaps playing games of partypoker or hanging out with friends. I wanted them to be drawn in as they walked past, by the bright colors and happiness I believe it exudes.

Ypsilanti is the kind of place where people appreciate art. I try to make work is that it is easily accessible to everyone, all ages, all walks of life. For me doing a shop window is a great chance for my work to be seen and enjoyed by people who may not normally come across it.

Some fun self-promotional material I made a few years ago before I started doing digital work. I was really into kinetic art and cardboard at the time. I wanted to make something that people would interact with at their desk, not simply a business card that might be thrown away. The pull tags contained all of my information. They were very well received at the time. These photos document the project.

I’m excited to have the final component of my website working now. I just started porting over the posts from my old blog and there is a lot of work to do here. I’m still working on some of the functionality so until I have it fully running, enjoy these posts from the past.
